Your program is running and the integrated debugger is using the Edit window to step through your source code.

By positioning the cursor, you can set breakpoints, watch expressions, or evaluate and modify variables.

Even though your program is running, you can still perform normal editing operations, including search and replace, opening and closing files, and so on.
